Tanner Source: Early Friends of Upper Bucks Ebenezer Walker was a tanner of Richland, he first purchased in 1776, two lots as the "Cross Roads" now Broad and Main Street, Quakertown, he purchased of William Burr and seems to have operated a tannery there. In 1789 he purchased of the attorneys of John Penn, Lot No, 7, Richland Manor and Lottery Lands Lot. No.3 adjoining, lying along the "Flatliand Road" which forms the present boundary between Richland and Haycock Townships. Here he also operated a tannery, but sold his lands about 1800 amd removed to Northumberland County, Pa. Source: The Direct Tax of 1798 in Uppers Bucks County, PA, by Harry C. Is there any reference in monthly meetings on this Ebenezer Walker? Looking to find wives Hannah (maybe Burson) and Dianah Ball records. Also looking for parents of Ebenezer who was b abt 1731.
