I am related to John Hill who became the first Treasurer/Superintendent of Ackworth School in Yorkshire, England in 1779. His wife Judith was "Mistress to the Family" and she died between 1779 and 1787. Their daughter Ann was head of the girl's school.
Their daughter Lydia married Robert Lovell in 1787 in Bristol.
I'd be very interested in any information that anybody might have about these Hill's.
