In January 2007 Clan Dalton was officially registered with The Clans of Ireland and DGS Irish Secretary, Ciaran Dalton, was appointed Clan Chieftain.
A visit to the Clans of Ireland, Ltd. http://theclansofireland.ie/register.html show the DGS listed as the Dalton CLAN.
Ciaran Dalton is NOT the Chieftain of CLAN Dalton.
CLAN Dalton has NO association with the Dalton Genealogical Society.
Patrick Dalton is Chieftain of CLAN Dalton.
