I am fairly new to this so if it sounds stupid sorry but I need some advice. I recently sent for a marriage certificate and was told I had my facts wrong and that if 2 people were married the vol and page numbers would be the same. So why can I not find the marriage details of somebody who I have all of the facts of. i.e. I know my Great Great Grandfathers name and date of birth etc and seem to have found his marriage details but when I put in his wife, whose details I know also, I cannot find her marriage record? I would greatly appreciate any advice because although I have read all of the info and listened to Tony Robinson I am no nearer to understanding!!! Thanks in advance.
