Hello Mr Larry Myers,
Yeah, I found your name, now I don´t have to call you photo66666. I like to know the person´s name that wants to communicate with me, that is all.
Larry, you seem like a smart guy who has done a lot of research and reading. Can you tell us what you are reading and where you obtained this info? Larry, the Randolphs were neighbors to an old Va Steward line in Henrico/Chesterfield CO VA. This Steward line were "Cavaliers " when they came to VA ca 1668-1670. That was considered the "Cavalier era in VA, from 1850-1689, I believe. As you probably know a Cavalier was very Loyal to the KING of England. They were "of Gentle Birth" and Royalists supporters of Kin Charles I in his struggle with Parliament in the English Civil War. I can guarantee you this Steward line were of the Church of England, and probably years before Catholic´s. Well,O. Cromwell took care of that now didn´t he?
Spotswood owned nearly all of the land in certain parts of Northern VA. The Randolphs also were great land owners but there land stretched to the very South Wesrern area of VA also. My GGGGG grandfather bought land in 1782 from Beverly Randolph, ESQ. George Washington as you said was a land surveyor, learned his trade at William and Mary and was born in Westmoreland CO VA, died because of a throat infection at his plantation (Mount Vernon). Ever hear of the Taliaferro family? They were connected to the Washignton´s and another very important Stuart line from the Northern Neck. The Bolling, Stewart, Poythress , Pace and Rolfe lines of Surry CO VA are all connected.
As to George Washington again, well that man did a lot of traveling. He even was in NY a few times. He did play a big role in the F&I War. He did go to PA, Pittsburg would have been a wild, fronteir area in this time frame.
I don´t think many of any of the Royal family in England would have cared 2 cents about what they refered to as "savages", the Indians, when Rebecca was there or after her death. Only Rebecca mattered and it was a marriage of Convenience, to appease the Natives. The English felt appeasment only after she was Babtised and given a proper Christian name, but had more peace after the marriage to Rolfe.
