Dalmasso name
Hi-I am not sure of the link to Russian nobility. I am a descendant of some Dalmasso's in northern Italy. I am having difficulty doing genealogy back beyond my grandparents, who were both born in Italy. I had been told that a distant relative was of aristocracy...but that was it.
Giuseppe Dalmasso born in Cuneo Italy and Maria Bernardi born in Busca Italy were my grandparents. Both born in late 1800's, came to California in 1913 (were actually supposed to go to Argentina, but got off ship at Ellis Island, NY). Was told my grandfather had several platinum blonde sisters (who supposedly went to Argentina).
