King Fairhair to Njord Noatum to Cleopatra??

Ok...so I traced my family to 1500 in Vest Agder via my Bydeboker, then I found someone with a common ancestor, who had a line back to Harald Fairhair. Then I found another connection to Njord Noatum, then searching Ancestry.com I find people linking Njord to Cleopatra, and a bunch of other people with Njord in thier lines back to the dawn of time...

Im a creationist, and my faith has me believing that at some point we all go back to Adam and Eve. And I know that genealogy has many mistakes, and some websites have Njord Noatum as a king of the Swedes or a Norse God...

But my nice little hobby has got me scratching my head.

What do my cousins via Fairhair think???

I would love to know! Is there really a link? And I mean really, I am happy to be Norwegian Royality, but...Cleopatra?

There is a story in my family that a male ancestor named Eikaas from Jolster was a palace guard. He married a lady in waiting to the queen. I had assumed that ladies who served the queen were daughters of earls or dukes if not princesses. Are there court records that would document 'scandals' of a lady running off with a guard?
