Does anyone know where I can purchase the book "WILDFLOWER" the story of Barbara CRAWFORD THOMPSON. Who was shipwrecked in 1843 off North Queensland and rescued by HMS Rattlesnake in 1848. I have heard it has her family tree etc in it and a lot of research.

history in it and a bit with aboriginal words and their meanings too. It is a great little book. A friend told me about it.

You can buy the book 'Wildflower, The Barbara Crawford Thompso Story' by Raymond Warren from the author himself, or from his UK agent (Me ! ) I list it on Amazon UK but they charge silly fees, so it is cheaper if you can buy direct. I'll arrange a signed copy if you wish, and the author is always pleased to correspond with any descendants of Barbara or her family.
