Master of the Sloop Polly was Captain Walter Rench of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. 'Polly' cleared Philad. Customs House on July 5, 1764, bound for Halifax, Nova Scotia. The vessel never returned to its home port and its master and crew were lost with the sloop. Can someone tell me whether the 'Polly' reached Halifax safely and if so, when did she sail from Halifax and for which port was she bound?
