Yes, they are. But, I would ask you a question.
Why would the Spouse note and the Relationship Note be part of the report if the couple has a child but not part of the report if they do not? I think you would answer by saying the spouse of a childless couple is not in the direct line.
That is true but when I print a Register Report (particularly when that report covers perhaps a dozen generations), it makes no sense to include spouse note and relationship notes for every person who has children but not for the people who don't.
For example, my great grandfather had twelve children and I descend from his youngest. His oldest child (my great uncle) is not my direct ancestor and yet because he and his wife had a child, all the notes for his wife and child (my second cousin), plus the relationship note, are included in the report. Their child (my second cousin) also married and had children and so the report includes all the notes for both him and his wife plus the relationship note. Now one of those twelve children married but had no children. The note about his wife and the relationship note that pertains to them are not included in the report.
Both of those men are my great uncles and neither is in my direct line. Yet because one of them has children and the other doesn't, I get all the notes on the one with the children but on his brother, I get only the brother's person note. No note on his wife and no relationship note.
I hope this better explains the problem.
