Yes, and why would that be?
I've been double checking throughout the file. It seems that spouses are never listed whenever there are no children. This is in all of the Genealogy Reports - Register, Simple
Register, etc. Marriages are only mentioned if the descendant has a child from any marriage. But if there are couples who have never had children, there is no mention that the person was ever married.
I have never had this happen with FTM over the years and certainly can't share reports with my famiy members if there are no mention of their spouses.
All previous versions of FTM ALWAYS INCLUDED all marriages and spouses and whatever facts were filled in. How can they suddenly not include them?!?!? And how can I get them back? It is also a pain to have to manually choose which facts to include in a report when previously any non-blank fact was published.
If not possible to include child-less spouses, do you know if all my saved info can be imported to a GED file and inported back to FTM 2006? That's the last version I have in the old format. I must have downloaded version 16 on-line, because I have no disc and that was two computers ago. Don't know if 2006 works with Vista, but I am really fed up with FTM 2009. Otherwise, I am thinking of switching to
Legacy which seems to have a lot of good reviews.
Thanks for all your help and advice,
Russ
