A couple of years ago I upgraded from FTM 6 to 16 when I did so, it seems I lost all my notes! I had extensive notes entered that various family members had given me. I just found my old version of 6 and installed it on my new laptop and imported my back up that was version 6 and the notes are all there. So where are they in version 16??

Version 16 will open your Version 6 file and bring in your Notes.

Please give it another try.

BEFORE you start, Back Up your Version 6 Family File, Import it into Version 16 and check the Notes section.

There is no reason why FTM 16 will not import a file from FTM 6 including Notes.

Oh, Is the question WHERE are the Notes?

Look at the Edit Individual, from the Family View screen, and look for the Note tab at the top of that window.
